Meaningless Conversation

A very interesting aspect of human life is relationship. Now I am not talking about a man and woman only. Neither am I limiting it to any social context. For instance the relation between the checkout clerk and the grumpy old woman; or sulking conductor and equally sulking passenger; is what I am talking about. A simple thing like smile has disappeared from human life. This has a direct impact on relations. Now some may call it as daily interaction but I call it relation. The old man at the newsstand, the pretty girl at the coffee shop, senior citizen volunteering at road crossing, the cab...

Atheist need GOD

Atheists need GOD. No kidding. From where I see, I find that it amusingly true. The so called Atheists are like bunch of kids singing ‘Here we go round the mulberry bush …’ Ironic, sad, funny and yet true. Now it is a different matter altogether on my views on GOD and religion. I can’t stand the rigidity of conforming to norms, to certain belief system that closes the possibility of learning something new, discovering something different, blocking a unique and exhilarating experience. It is not acceptable for me. Life, I feel, is too short to compartmentalise and label it for sake of...

{EAV_BLOG_VER:27f6183aa1a9ad80} The following I have copy pasted from Anurag Chaturvedi’s blog at BLOGGISM. This was a conversation we had over Google talk, one evening. The content are exact as they were. No edits made. He published it. I am thankful to him for putting it out there. I have such conversations many a times. With Anurag and many other friends. Only that I don’t publish them. I am not sure what words to use, however ‘excited’ does come to mind when I see the content published. I could not resist the urge to put it here on my site too. With permission from...

Lately I have been facing a lot of questions pertaining what is reality. Not that I am any expert on that subject but as I like to, I tried to put my mind to at least understand the question. I have always said, before trying to find an answer, see if you understand the question in the first place. So on reality, I was pondering for few days. Is it what we believe is reality or what we refuse to believe is reality? I cut my self while preparing some meal. It hurts. That is reality? Or because I believe, since I am cut, it hurts, that is reality? No I don’t mean to say that if I start...

Wisdom: cometh by age?

Posted by on Mar 18, 2010 in General | 0 comments

One question that has always been on my mind. Does age really bring wisdom? I don’t know the answer but one thing I have definitely observed is that as one gets older, the need and desperation to have a companion gains a fanatic proportions. This is especially important to observe since the younger generation is also, in more than one way, is desperately trying to find a companion. So as one grows, should they not become wiser to live with the fact that it is indeed futile to seek that companion? Should one not live with the fact that one who is supposed to be in your life, is already...
