Now we all know about 'Free Will'. How many of you have heard about 'Free Won't'? I guess very few. This is something all of us miss. It's like we know our legal and constitutional rights but never think about our obligations.
Free Won't, is the other side of the coin. As you have the free will to live your life, you also have the free won't to refuse to live your life in a certain way. It's just matter of choosing.
Unfortunately our conditioning has made us to focus on 'Free Will' more than 'Free Won't'. We can say NO to situation. We can say NO to people. We have the 'Free Won't'.
Look at your self. Look at your miseries. Come on, be brave, look. Ok, promise, I won't watch while you are looking. Done!
Now … "Just watch every kind of misery. Either it has some pleasure in it which yo are not ready to lose, or it has some hope in it which goes on dangling in front of you like a carrot." – OSHO
Did something show up? Maybe an acceptance. A faint smile on your face? We all need such wise words of gurus to act as mirror on our follies. The problem is, after realising the flaws, no one takes action. Strange. Would you look at the mirror, see a speck of dirt on your face and NOT wash it? But you do. With self realisation. Your inner self is no longer heard. Inner self is strangled and suffocated. You don't let it live. Thats when the misery starts.
What I mean by Free Won't, I guess there is no more simplicity then this. Just say NO. Refuse to be victim. Refuse to listen to 'order', unless it is from within. I am working on putting some more words and examples to this. Either I will post afresh or edit this with a note to readers.
